Matchin (the “App”) is a mobile social app that helps VALORANT players find teammates. This policy explains which personal data we process when you use the App, why, who we share it with, and your rights. The Turkish version is the governing text; this English version is provided for convenience.

3. Why we process it
- To create your account and verify sign-in.
- To match you with other players and provide chat, posts and duels.
- To keep players under 18 and adults apart: under-18 users are only ever matched with users of their own age group.
- To prevent harassment, fraud, fake accounts and abuse, and to handle reports.
- To run the coin economy and subscriptions.
- To fix bugs and improve the App.
4. Riot Games account linking
When you add a Riot ID to your profile, we check with Riot Games’ official API that the account exists. You can also link your Riot account with “Sign in with Riot” (Riot Sign On). Sign-in happens on Riot’s own page; your Riot password never reaches us. When you link:
- Your Riot ID comes from your Riot account and is shown as verified.
- Of the players in your recent VALORANT matches, only those who also linked their account to Matchin are shown to you, and you to them, in “players from your matches”.
- Linking your account means you agree that this data is visible to other players in the App. Being visible to players on the opposing team requires a separate opt-in.
- You can turn off “Show me in my matches” or unlink at any time in Settings; you then disappear from past matches too.

5. Who we share data with
- Other users: when you match, your profile (display name, username, photo, bio, city/country, rank and agents, online status) is shown to the other person. Messages go only to the person you matched with. Your Riot ID is shown only to people you matched with.
- Service providers who process data on our instructions only:
- DigitalOcean — server and file hosting (Frankfurt, Germany)
- Resend — sign-in code e-mails
- Expo — push notification delivery
- Sightengine — checking uploaded images for inappropriate content
- Sentry — error reports
- PostHog — usage statistics
- Google Play and Apple App Store — in-app purchases
- Riot Games — only if you link your Riot account
- Authorities: only where the law requires it, on a valid request.
6. How long we keep it
- Account and profile data: while your account is active.
- When you delete your account, your profile is hidden from everyone immediately and your data, including photos and videos, is permanently deleted within 30 days. Signing in again with the same e-mail address within those 30 days cancels the deletion and restores the account.
- Purchase records required by tax law and moderation records kept to prevent abuse may be retained in a form that can no longer be linked to you, for the periods required by law.
7. Children
The App is not for children under 13, who cannot sign up. Users aged 13–17 are only matched with users of the same age group, never with adults. If we learn we hold data of a child under 13, we delete the account without delay.
8. Security
- All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS/WSS).
- Sign-in uses one-time codes; we don’t store passwords.
- Riot API keys and tokens stay on our servers and are never shipped in the App.
- Media in chat is only shown after both people agree.
9. Your rights
Under Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and, where applicable, the GDPR, you can ask whether we process your data, get a copy (also available in the App: Settings → Download my data), have it corrected or deleted, and object to processing. Write to frukselvi@gmail.com; we answer within 30 days. You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Settings → Delete account.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. We’ll tell you in the App about significant changes. The current version is always on this page.
